Boston Real Estate Stories
Stories of Real estate agents in Boston
At Hot Boston Rentals, we strongly encourage renters to search for apartments through credible and reliable agents. This means asking friends for referals, looking at background information on popular blogs and social networks, and 'feeling out' the people skills of individuals. If someone's not returning your calls, losing paperwork, or forgetting which apartments you toured, are you really a priority to them?
Agents are a dime a dozen. Many are lazy, and some are downright selfish and have a booming ego, but finding a knowledgeable agent is possible. Part of the process is weeding out bad agents. This means that bad experiences must arise with home buyers, renters, other agents, or real estate companies,
The best thing you can do with a very bad experience is report it to thier managing broker, or better yet send a letter to the local real estate board which will review the case and potentially give them a warning. Keep in mind, a 'very bad experience' is one in which the agent completely neglected your rights, was inconsiderate in your dealings, and potentially even went out of the way to mismanage your apartment search.
