The Different Subway Lines

Green Line -The Green Line runs from Downtown Boston out through the western regions of eastern Massachusetts such as Boston College,MBTA Green Line Boston Univeristy, and Northeastern University. The Green Line is most popular for college students and young professionals because it runs through the triendier and more fun areas of the city. These areas are usualy Downtown, Copley, Coolidge Corner, Allston/Brighton, and Back Bay.

Red Line - The Red Line Runs from North to South, from Cambridge down to Braintree. In the northern region of the Red Line (in Cambridge) it curves far west out towards Somerville too, so it's not exaclt a streight line. The Red Line is very popular to live on, particularly to those who commute from Quincy, which can take from 20-30 minutes to get into Boston. Many times your professionals who want to commute into the city, but also want a luxury style community live further out on the Red Line.

Silver Line Subway - The Silver Line is relatively new and has a variety of locations it hits. It runs in a clover style formation from Logan Airport, back to metro Boston, and around South Station. The Silver Line is new, and on a cable, so no special stops here. If you're just flying in from the airport, and need to look at apartments same day, please arrange a pick up a few weeks in advance and we'll be glad to show you a number of places.

Orange Line - Less of our apartments are located on the Orange and Blue Lines. If you're seeking places to live, or rent for that matter, please contact us for what we may have. We can generally seek out some apartments for you, but keep in mind this location isn't our specialty.

Blue Line - The Blue Line runs far out to the north shore of boston, way out of the current reach of our agents area coverage. We do have a few apartments in Revere from time to time, so if this location is important to you, don't hesitate to ask if we have any inventory.

Locations People Prefer in Boston

Boston is an ever changing city. The South End has dramatically improved over the past 5 years, and has become a more trendy and sophisticated area. Rent prices have roughly trippled here, and it has a very similar feel to San Francisco if you've ever been. Brookline is growing considerably, du to the easy access to medical facilities such as Mass General Hospital, Brigham and Womens, and other major health care providers in Boston.

The coolest place to live no doubt is Bay Bay, where rents run from $1600+ for a one bedroom. If you're a city executive, recent graduate, or young professional moving to the city, this may be your place. If offers all the best cafe's, bars & lounges, art galleries, and hair salons. You'll never run short of anything to do except for parking spaces here. But for another $100-200 per month, you too can preserve a private parking spot.
